Established in July 2003 with the name SG Seafood Join Stock Company (SG FISCO), Saigon Food specialized in manufacturing and distributing frozen seafood and ready-to-eat food for local and export markets.
In 2003, from a small venture with only one office, a hired processing factory and 11 staff, Saigon Food has expanded by purchasing a factory in Vinh Loc industrial zone, a facility that measured up to 5,000 m2, and 300 staffs.
At the moment, Saigon Food has evolved into an organization comprised of 2000 staff, 4 well-equipped factories on an area of 24,000 m2 with freezing warehouses, high-tech quick freezers and a standardized management system that is certified by ISO International 9001:2008, HACCP, Kaizen, and 5S.
