Trung An High-Tech Farming JSC. , formerly known as Trung An Limited. , was established in 1996 in Can Tho.
The company main activities are trading and processing milled rice.
Trung An went into business during the opening period of the Vietnamese economy, with Vietnamese rice grains being promoted and demanded widely around the globe.
Since then, Trung An had continue to innovate and risen to become one of the most well-known and leading rice processing and exporting brands, with many government officials held the company in high regards.
The company motto is “tasty, clean, and safe”.
The company main headquarter currently located at 649A, Highway 91, Trung Kien Ward, Thot Not District, Can Tho City. While the company 6 silo factories are also all conveniently situated in Can Tho, with the total size measured at 60,000 m2 and a capacity to handle up to 90,000 tons of rice. Each factory is capable of handling around 1,000 tons of rice per day.
With the constant efforts of the staffs and effective leadership from Trung An head honcho, the company had expanded and achieved a number of remarkable milestones during the past 20 years. Between 2004-2005, Trung An, taking advantage of the period when private enterprises were allowed to directly export rice, had achieved a growth rate of over 20%. Follow this, by 2009, Trung An export products have made their ways into many different countries around the world like China, Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, America, Germany, Abu Dhabi, Switzerland, and more…
To ensure the finest source materials for their products, Trung An had invested into a large 763 hectares field in Kien Giang, in which, 530 hectares are used for cultivating through the global agricultural practices (Global Gap), 100 hectares are cultivated for organic products and 20 hectares are used for ecology conservation.
Furthermore, the company has also cooperated with farmers to invest toward the cultivation of safe materials in the provinces of An Giang, Can Tho, Dong Thap, Kien Giang, Soc Trang.
This was done by providing seeds, fertilizers and plant protection drugs.
Trung An also collaborated with scientists to implemented the modern farming techniques to help farmers save production costs and increase profits but at the same time creating eco-friendly and clean products, that’s suitable to the consumer’s needs.
